# delete datasink

The `delete datasink` command deletes the data in a data sink and its configuration. All datasets with features defined from the data sink must be deleted before you delete the data sink.

## Parameters

| Parameter         | Description                                                                                         |
| ----------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `<datasink name>` | The name of the data sink                                                                           |
| `keep_config`     | Specify this option if you want to preserve the configuration but delete the data in the data sink. |
